All Hell Broke Loose!!

National Service. Two years. To me as it seems is a long time. The advent of my field camp last week had drained the soul out of me. I built basha tent, camo-ed on, devoured rations and dug a trench. My uniform and boots were soaked in mud. It wasn't the most enjoyable time but I'm sure it was memorable.

Just as I thought that hell was all over, more came. I was nominated as platoon IC, accounted for attendance and gave military commands this week. I did my best. Well, it wasn't so bad after all. But yesterday during my book out, somehow something screwed up. As usual, we were waiting for bus pick-up from the ferry terminal. As the IC, I stood rooted in front of my platoon mates.

The bus aunty approached and instructed us to board the bus. We started to board the bus. Then sergeant came and yelled at us for having the audacity to board the bus on our accord. We returned to our positions and watched the others filled up the bus and left.

Oblivious to my surroundings, I folded my arms. I didn't know why I did that. By the time I realised it, it was quite late. I quickly 'tuned' myself into the 'stand at ease' mode. A minute later, a man in black civilian clothes approached me.

"Are you the IC?" I thought he was going to ask if everyone is here. Perhaps it was time to board the bus. Then All Hell Broke Loose!! " You folded your arms is it?" Sorry Sir. "Sorry enough is it?" "Knock it down!" "Carry on 40" I sweared that it was humiliating for both my company and me. The man in black was another company's OC.

I closed my eyes and prayed that all hell will start to freeze after booking in tommorrow. The cascade of events still daunted me. Confinement? Guard duty? I'm not sure. Fingers crossed.

Graduation

Today is the NYP graduation and is also a new start for me. I saw many faces that I'd say farewell to. There was a part of me that felt grateful for my friends who have made everything possible for me.

A lot of things have happened and I admit that I have also changed quite a bit. It is going to be a new chapter of life in the National Service. Right now, I'm training hard at the gym, challenging myself with obstacles like the parallel bars and monkey bars. I wish that little frogs will just lend me their pair of powerful limbs, so that I can excel in the Standing Broad Jump station. My current jump - 180cm and to pass I need 222cm. Haiz.

I was scanning through the papers today and I saw Brands Music Challenge. You have to submit a music video of your performance and the top 4 will be chosen to perform with Wang Leehom. Awe. Shall consider if I really want to take part in it.

Nonetheless, let's remind ourselves that we'll "make impossible get real"!!

Boo! Time to Wake my Blog Up from Inception!

My blog is "drugged" and has "plunged" into the depths of Inception! Inception is a dream state or rather a virtual dream world!! So now it's time to give it a "kick" and wake it up. It's an entertaining movie from Leonardo DiCaprio. I was utterly confused by the director. The plot is ingenious and I'd love to watch it again. Worth Watching!

It has been WEEKS in Scotland! Many things happened and I won't be able to recount all of them here. Yesterday, we indulged ourselves to an ice-cream treat at Visocchi's Ice-Cream Restaurant at Broughty Ferry. A town which is just 2.5 miles away from Dundee. The cabonara spaghetti and ice-cream were simply scrumptious. Awesome. Oops I don't have the pictures with me now. They're with Fiona. I will upload them once I have them.

To all my blog readers, "being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect, it just means that you've decided to look beyond imperfections".

Beyond Dreams. It's Wedding Dress.

Time really flies and our 3 month of FYP is coming to an end. Things happened and changed. I guess I'm a little different too but I'm still the small 1.58m boy, Kenny. I'm one who likes to dream and materialize dreams into reality. That's my Magic.

I want to learn tennis and beatboxing. It's a little pity that I can't because I will be forfeiting my lesson fee for I'm flying to Dundee next month.

Fiona invited us to join a flash mob dance. I thought it's we "pay to dance". However, it's we "dance for our pay". I've been always a little stiff at my joints. Open up Open up. Quite fun! At times, I feel as though I'm dancing with the Korean stars on Music Bank.
Yes right now, I'm planning on something crazy, something big that I have never tried before. Since the DTs are leaving, I'm planning a party performance at Hot Shot Cafe. It's Wedding Dress.

Haha and it's almost time I revamp my blog skin. Smell you all then.

Stay Tuned to Canny

We played badminton on Friday. I dived for the shuttlecock and lost my balance. I fell. Minor graze and bruise in my elbows and knees. My knees are still hurting. Nonetheless I love the thrill of whacking and smacking the shuttlecock.

Haha I want to make almond cookies! I'd told Wanrong about that and apparently I procrastinated. Oops...

Today, mum and I just made a new debit card for my Scotland trip. So it also means it is time to start packing my luggage. =) Time really flies and very soon on 6th June, 10.50pm I will be gone.

Haha! Basically that's a short recount of what happened. Have been a little lazy to post something. This explains the 1 week hiatus. Watch this MV. Jamie Cullum blasted his piano for his new album. Now 2pm soaked theirs in the rain. O.O

Red Red Red!

There you go! Some red orange stuff spinning round on a water bath. That's red yeast rice for your information. And it's a last min change to my project title. I hope this is going to turn out fine. Anyway it has kept me preoccupied the whole of last week.
Well... this weekend, I've been doing things that I enjoy in particular. Played a game of Dota with my bro, watched a couple of episodes of Fringe and played Taeyang's 'Wedding Dress'. In fact, there are two things that I want to learn badly. One tennis, second beatboxing.

All I want to do now is to indulge myself in a can of soya bean milk and my favourite kiwi. Don't bother so much ;-)
