Brother's Birthday

6 Nov. My bro's birthday. Mum and sis bought a chocolate cake from Polar. Besides we shared the cost of a wallet and shirt for his birthday present.

It's the birthday boy's call as to where he wants the celebration to be. Dad suggested Pu Tien restaurant. Haha all of us agreed in unison. LOL!! Since we don't know what and where's that place.

The restaurant sits right smack in the middle of Kitchener Road, just directly in front of a bus stop. It serves fine chinese cuisine. Hmm is it Hakka? I don't know... But the food & service is excellent.

My mum and sis are constantly keeping themselves abreast of the Korean wave, so much so that i think they went crazy over SS501. They are going to Hong Kong in Dec to catch their concert.

"My Girlfriend is an Agent". That's the latest on the silverscreen. It's a comedy spy movie featuring Kim HaNeul & Kang Ji Hwan. We went to watch that. Really funny ok... Must watch. Haha XD

Kbox & Jennifer's Body

At least this nasty flu bug didn't induce a fever on me!! Only blocked nose. Monday, I went Kbox-ing. It has been a long time since Sharon, Bei Si, Chi Ying and I last sang together. The last one... I rmbed I had to give that a miss as I was down with a terrible fever.

Their service was poor. We didn't get what we ordered and there wasn't a second round of drinks. Nonetheless, there were episodes of laughter upon some of our voices and silly actions. Haha!!!

My sis insisted on watching "Jennifer's Body" today. It's rated NC16 and she's only sec 2. But you know, you don't have to play by rules all the time!! So just buy a ticket for another movie and then sneak in into one of the free seats of the theatre. Shh!!! Don't say I did this! Hahaha...

Yes... it featured Megan Fox as a Succubus hunting guys down. Wow I got freaked out at some scenes. And it reminded me of Happy Tree Friends. Haha digging organs out!! Disgusting!

It's a long time since Sky Wu has released new MV. Do pay attention to the lyrics. It is really creative by making metaphors between traditional chinese herbs and love. Most of all it's upbeat!

Doctor and me on Halloween

My mum jolted me up this morning. My head's throbbing when i woke up. My nose was all stuffed up. Haiz... next I knew I was definitely down with common cold...

It was also time to see my physio doctor at Tan Tock Seng. Wonder what was wrong with me or rather if it was my natural instinct that kicked in. I took panadol and next I was going physio to heal my back pain. Gosh!! What was I doing?? In a rush, I wore my soiled sandals. I felt that I had just made a wasted trip...

But I smiled. At least my doctor was amiable. She told me it was alright and I did some physio workout. After which, I headed down to my family doctor. This time to sought for medicine for my sore throat and blocked nose. Quick! recover! I don't want to miss Monday please!! Only this Monday!

Have to catch up with House MD. There are 6 seasons and I've started none! Where's my pumpkin? Kind of random =) Happy Halloween Day.

My little sister's birthday. I rushed back home after lecture and we had a celebration over at Crystal Jade Kitchen.

My bro and I shared cost and we bought her a set of teddy bear "accessories". More new clothes and spectacles for her teddy named Hairy. We got a strawberry ice-cream cake from Swensen's after that. For your info, don't buy strawberries there!! Because it's not fresh... they taste really awful when kept at -20 degrees. Hard and bitter.
